lyrics
Crawling, through an agony that lingers
Past the reeking stench of death
Years of scattering toil, earth’s ravaged with
Leech infested soil
Glimpses from the past of
Haunted memories of savage ways
Contorted face screaming the almighty call
Shadows emerging from ruptures in the wall
With seeds of hate
Reaping what’s been sown
Spirit corrupted from within
The death of virtues begin
With seeds of hate
Reaping what’s been sown
Becoming the
Implement of sin
And slowly invite
The darkness in
Salvation preying
On virginal heart and soul
Images ripping sanity apart
And taking it’s deadly toll
As the sun forever sets and
The past is fading away
The convergence is shaping our fate
As night becomes the new day
Crawling, through an agony that lingers
Past the reeking stench of death
Years of scattering toil, earth’s ravaged with
Leech infested soil
Like distorted silhouettes
Structures reaching for the sky
Configurations in vertigo
The convergence wasn’t a lie
Once again he rises from the
Depths of malicious despair
Perpetual black sky
Breathing nevermore
The unborn child
Must die
Hear him spewing forth
a purpose and reason for a thousand lies
Twisted truths
Turns to prophecy
Spirits of the dead
Chanting words of hypocrisy (second time: insanity)
Crawling, through an agony that lingers
Past the reeking stench of death
Years of scattering toil
Earth’s ravaged with
Leech infested soil
Glimpses from the past of
Haunted memories of savage ways
Contorted face screaming the almighty call
The death of virtues will be the end of us all
The "Cult..." is UADA's sophomore album, and among all, the one I largely prefer. The Vocal performance, to start with, is truly outstanding, and while I really liked their debut album, this one is more varied, and overall is technically superior to anything else I've heard from UADA. Fast, aggressive, but with enchanting melodies to break in between, à la Dissection. Highly recommended! sachavonkarl74
